The Hate Crimes Prevention Bill: Why Do Jewish Organizations Support It?

The “Hate Crimes Prevention Bill” will be in the Senate Judiciary Committee this week. It recently passed the House, causing the Anti-Defamation League to rejoice. The ADL called the law “an essential and necessary step forward in the national effort to counter hate crimes” and urged passage by the Senate.

It also congratulated itself on taking a leadership role in promoting this legislation for the last 10 years. Other Jewish organizations have also been at the forefront of promoting “hate crime” legislation in the US and throughout the West.

Needless to say, here are very sound reasons to oppose this legislation. “Hate Crime” laws are superfluous, since crimes such as murder or assault are crimes whatever the motivation. Moreover, as Paul Craig Roberts recently pointed out there is a pronounced tendency for American legislation to metastasize into regulations far different and much more sweeping than the enactors envisaged (or admitted). This alone is reason enough to oppose any legislative advance into the areas of motivation or opinion. It is inevitable that “Hate Crimes” will quickly come to include political speech, specifically on immigration.

Why are Jewish organizations so committed to this drive to abolish free speech? Sadly, such an attitude is entirely within the Jewish tradition. Jewish groups have a long history of powerful controls over group members, ranging from regulations on economic behavior and charity toward other Jews, to regulating behavior likely to give rise to anti-Semitism or likely to damage other interests of the group.

One aspect of this is that there was little history of free speech within traditional Jewish societies. Historically, Israel Shahak and Norton Mezvinsky point out, rabbis and other elite members of the Ashkenazi and Sephardic communities had extraordinary power over other Jews— literally the power of life and death. And they were highly intolerant. Jews accused of heretical religious views were beaten or murdered. Their books were burned or buried in cemeteries. When a heretic died, his body was beaten by a special burial committee, placed in a cart filled with dung, and deposited outside the Jewish cemetery. (more…)

On October 16, 2004, President George W. Bush signed the Israel Lobby’s bill, the Global Anti-Semitism Review Act.  This legislation requires the US Department of State to monitor anti-semitism world wide.

To monitor anti-semitism, it has to be defined.  What is the definition?  Basically, as defined by the Israel Lobby and Abe Foxman, it boils down to any criticism of Israel or Jews.

Rahm Israel Emanuel hasn’t been mopping floors at the White House.
As soon as he gets the Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009 passed, it will become a crime for any American to tell the truth about Israel’s treatment of Palestinians and theft of their lands.

It will be a crime for Christians to acknowledge the New Testament’s account of Jews demanding the crucifixion of Jesus.

It will be

a crime to report the extraordinary influence of the Israel Lobby on the White House and Congress, such as the AIPAC-written resolutions praising Israel for its war crimes against the Palestinians in Gaza that were endorsed by 100 per cent  of the US Senate and 99 per cent  of the House of Representatives, while the rest of the world condemned Israel for its barbarity.

It will be a crime to doubt the Holocaust.

It will become a crime to note the disproportionate representation of Jews in the media, finance, and foreign policy.

In other words, it means the end of free speech, free inquiry, and the First Amendment to the Constitution. Any facts or truths that cast aspersion upon Israel will simply be banned.

Disloyalty is an age-old issue with Jews, and for a simple reason: Jews often have interests as Jews that stretch beyond national boundaries. Even before the existence of Israel, Diaspora Jews often could be said to have a “foreign policy” in the sense that there was a general consensus among Jews to favor some nations and disfavor others.

For example, the Spanish Inquisition targeted Jews who pretended to be Christians, with the result that Jews in other countries sought Spain’s downfall. From 1881 until the Bolshevik Revolution, Russia was seen as an enemy of Jews. As a result, the organized Jewish community in other countries often opposed Russian interests. Jacob Schiff, the preeminent Jewish activist of the period, financed the Japanese in the Russo-Japanese War of 1904–1905, and he financed revolutionaries in Russia.

At times, Jewish foreign policy interests were in conflict with those of the wider society. In 1908 Schiff also led the successful effort to abrogate the Russian Trade Agreement which was opposed by the Taft Administration as not in the interests of the United States. “Welcome to Cinco de Cuatro — Cinco de Mayo at the White House,” President Barack Obama said Monday in his latest of dozens of little-reported gaffes.

In saying “fifth of four,” had the president meant to say Cuatro de Mayo, Monday’s date, the fourth of May?

No matter — Obama’s sycophantic press corps swiftly buried yet another presidential fumble that would have been played and mocked for months if former Vice President Dan Quayle or any other Republican had voiced it.

“My [Spanish] accent’s always been good,” the president said modestly. “It’s just that I only know 15 words.”

Too bad. The previous president, former Texas Republican Gov. George W. Bush spoke Spanish almost as well as he did English.

Americans could learn much by understanding the roots of Cinco de Mayo, a holiday long celebrated in the southwestern United States.

Much as the Jewish holiday Hanukkah is celebrated more in the United States than in Israel, Cinco de Mayo sparks more festivities in the United States than in Mexico, where it is not “an obligatory federal holiday.”

Cinco de Mayo has become a day of pride for Mexican-Americans and Latinos, just as Saint Patrick’s Day is for Irish-Americans. And as our Mexican-American population grows, this holiday has spread from the Southwest that once was Mexico to Buffalo, Boston, and Baltimore.

Cinco de Mayo commemorates the Battle of Puebla (pictured above) on May 5, 1862, when Mexican forces defeated a slightly larger French force.

This victory was temporary. In the second Battle of Puebla in 1863, French troops crushed the Mexican army, occupied Mexico City days later, and continued to rule Mexico for four years. (…Full Article)

Just In Time–Swine Flu Hysteria Hyped Just As Israeli Spying Against America Becomes Major News Worldwide

Encompassing roughly the same time frame as the Six Day War that began with Israel’s sneak attack on her Arab neighbors in 1967 (and responsible for all the current mayhem in the Middle East today) the American people suffered a similar event the last week of April with long-term effects just as devastating to their national health as Israel’s occupation of those same lands she stole some 4 decades ago.

The difference between the two however is that with Israel’s recent sneak attack against America, the outcome was not simply the capturing of a few small pieces of heavily-populated pieces of real estate as occurred in 1967. Rather, it was the capture of the entire military/intelligence apparatus of the United States that–absent some substantive and successful counter-attack–will inevitably result in all life on the planet being threatened in a manner never before seen in history.

Rather than dropping bombs on Arab villages and towns as took place in 1967, the recent Israeli-engineered/executed blitzkrieg was instead the merciless carpet-bombing of the American mind on a minute-by-minute basis. The timing of the attack was no accident, taking place as it did a mere few days before the yearly get-together of the most powerful ruling body in the United States (and by default, the world)–AIPAC, the American/Israel Public Affairs Committee.

With the same kind of destructive force as any conventional explosive that leaves it’s victims dazed, confused and panic-stricken, Jewish interests in control of American media rained down on the land of the free and home of the brave informational “smart” bombs whose aim was to intellectually terrorize and paralyze the American people to such an extent they would not notice the bigger bombs about to explode in the nation’s capital later that same week.

With neither warning nor build-up and literally within days of a .5-on-the-Richter-Scale story making news worldwide detailing Jewish congresswoman Jane Harman negotiating treason with a known Israeli spy, the American people were inundated with minute-by-minute stories warning that indeed the “final countdown” to the end times had begun, ushered in with an apocalyptic outbreak of Swine Flu. With the same kind of drama as the infamous “War of the Worlds” radio program last century that terrorized gullible American citizens into a state of panic that the end of the world as they knew it had begun with an alien invasion from Mars, so too did Jewish interests firmly in control of the American media whip the nation up into a similar frenzy. Despite compelling and passionate testimony by House Republicans, the federal hate crimes bill, HR 1913, passed last week in the House of Representatives by a vote of 249 to 175.

In what Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R, VA) called “an atrocity,” the House Rules Committee last Tuesday imposed a “closed rule” on debate and amendments, limiting debate to 120 minutes. However, contest of the rule was permitted between both sides for one hour, giving Republicans a preliminary opportunity to lay out objections to the hate bill. They failed in their attempt to lengthen the debate, and the original 120 minutes of debate ensued.

Here are highlights of the Republican opposition:

Rep. Virginia Foxx (R, NC) said HR 1913 will open a new category of “thought crimes” in America, moving us “down a slippery slope” to loss of freedom. She said such has happened under hate laws in Canada and Europe.

Rep. Trent Franks (R, AZ) warned HR 1913 will end equality in America, giving special rights to federally favored groups such as homosexuals.

Rep. Roy Blount (R, MO) echoed Foxx’s admonition that hate laws have taken away free speech in Canada and Europe.

Rep. Steve King (R, IA) repeated the warning of his amendment in Judiciary last week, saying pedophiles and many other deviants will obtain special rights and protection under HR 1913. (more…)

Why I am not guilty of any “Thought Crimes” in the Czech Republic

After jailing me in violation of my human rights, I have no personal interest in visiting the Czech Republic again, but if it is decided that my human rights of conscience and speech will be violated by continuation of charging me with crimes related to free speech, I will certainly come back to the Czech Republic to defend myself and to defend that most precious freedom of free speech. Freedom of thought and speech is the freedom upon which  all other human rights rest. If it becomes necessary for me to return to defend myself I will do so. In the unfortunate media frenzy that will ensue, I will expose to the people of your fine country and to the world - how human rights are being trampled on - in a fashion completely unworthy of the heroes of your great history.

Every true Czech should value freedom of speech, especially after decades of brutal suppression of freedom of speech by the Bolsheviks. How many of you - and how many of your fathers and mothers endured imprisonment, torture or even death for exercising their God-given human right of freedom of speech. They stood up bravely no matter how the communists tried to criminalize their free speech. Slowly, the same kinds of human rights violations are creeping into your land and across Europe. Journalists are always the first to defend their own freedom of speech, but why the silence about my freedom.

Indeed your country’s greatest hero, Jan Hus, is an example of how suppression of free thought and speech is a heinous violation of human rights not worthy of the ancient establishment back in 1415 and not worthy of the Czech people today. For that matter, the rights of free conscience and speech are not just limited to the Czech Republic but are universal.

The actual text of my Lecture to Charles University in Praha

As everyone in the Czech Republic is now aware, I was ultimately prevented from giving this lecture. Perhaps even more important to the rights of the Czech people, the faculty and students were denied their right to hear it. Here is the actual text of my scheduled lecture. You may be the judge of whether I should have had the legal right to deliver it and whether the university students and faculty should have had the right to hear it. As I explain in the lecture, when you suppress the human rights of freedom of speech and conscience, you cannot even personally know for sure what the person is actually advocating. In the old communist-occupied Eastern and Central Europe, the establishment either jailed the dissident or simply told the people what the dissident supposedly believed. The idea was to not let him speak for himself. It is sad to see the Czech Republic slipping back to the lack of freedom of speech that the Czech people suffered under communist occupation and repression. It is not worthy of a free people. Certainly not worthy of the Czech people.

I feel very honored to be in the Czech Republic at one of the greatest universities of the world, Charles University, a university founded on the courageous example of Jan Huss, who gave up his liberty and his very life for the right to speak his conscience to the Czech people.

Thank you for permitting me to speak my conscience and ideas to you, and I think you will find out quickly that my actual beliefs are not what you have been told.

In fact, you may be surprised to find that the chief motivation of my life is the protection and advancement of the most fundamental of human rights for all peoples. And yes, I am not ashamed to say it, I also dare to defend the human rights of the Czech people, of the European and American people.

I believe that every person must have the right of freedom of conscience and speech no matter if I or others agree or disagree with him. Once freedom is curtailed for one human soul it is murdered in the hearts of all men. (more…)

…before I say anything else, I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to so many people who post and read Stormfront and who listen to our radio programs, and to people that read my website, DavidDuke.com, and friends throughout the world. I’ve never received such an outpouring of support and love and I’m so appreciative of that.

I also want to thank, before I make any comments on what happened and on the nature of what happened, to thank the people of the Czech Republic. They’re not responsible for what the state did—what the government did in this case. In fact, it is very interesting to note that the article, and I have a number of newspaper articles from the Czech Republic—and I must tell you that this must be good news to a number of people in America who are not used to somewhat of a free press—is that a great many of the articles in the mainstream media and daily media in the Czech Republic were very supportive of me and my freedom of speech rights.

In fact, one leftist publication ran a complete story on the front page, a complete interview of me in my own words. They didn’t alter a word, I taped the interview. In fact, I’m going to put the taped interview up on DavidDuke.com and you’re welcome to do so on Stormfront. They put all my words out exactly as I said them. If you look at the internet responses in the Czech publications—I don’t speak Czech, but I have a lot of Czech friends obviously, they said that overwhelmingly the people were supportive of my right to be there and even the basic ideas about why I was there.

Now, as far as what happened, it was very simple. I was invited to Charles University to give a lecture. As people know, I’m a PhD and I’ve lectured in over at least three hundred universities in Europe and America. I’ve also spoken in every major country in Europe, in Germany and Austria. And they’re very tough on these laws, by the way. I’ve spoken in Sweden and Denmark—I’ve spoken obviously in Italy, in Spain I’ve had major speeches all over and I have never had a problem in Europe.

I was just shocked, when I got there, we did some sightseeing, we had a very special tour, the people of the Czech Republic treated me very well. In fact, we went to the cathedral on the hill—it’s a beautiful old city, it’s a fantastic city, in fact it’s one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. We went up to the old cathedral, and we walked in and the guides knew who I was and they arranged for a special tour of their cathedral. They brought me into the places the tourists usually aren’t allowed, into the crypts and where the kings are buried and they told me about all those things. They treated me really quite royal in the country and quite well.

Coming down from the castle and the cathedral we came down to a small pub where we were going to get some food and talk with friends, and suddenly about 16 swat-clad police showed up. (more…)

Yes, I am now free, at least temporarily

The outrage by so many Czech citizens and even many in the media after my arrest led the government to release me from my cell in the wee hours of the morning, After about 3 hours sleep I now write these words to you.

The charges, of course, from the beginning are specious. I was invited to the Czech Rep. originally to speak at one of the oldest and most famous universities in Europe, Charles University in Prague. It is also famous for being founded by heroic Czechs like Jan Hus who stood up and told the truth and believed that truth and its pursuit is the most important thing a man can do in his life, even if it costs him his life and freedom. This is the man who is the national hero of the Czech people.

As those who read my material know, I do not seek the suppression of any people, race or religion, but simply believe that Europeans have the human right to preserve our homelands and that our governments should be in the service of our own people and not the International Zionist Global matrix of financial and political power. I am not a man who denies that atrocities took place against Jews in the Second World War, but I argue forcefully that freedom of speech on this or any other issue is a basic human right of all people.

My lectures in the Czech republic were not on the subject of the Holocaust at all, in fact why all the constant attention on this subject by the media, when one considers the fact that Bolshevism killed, tortured and harmed tens of millions more people. I never speak about the Holocaust in Europe other than to say that it is a human rights outrage that people are imprisoned for simply having a differing opinion about an historical event.

I was going to lecture about the Israeli influence over American and European foreign policy and the International Zionist Banking firms that are leading America and the world to financial oblivion, globalist hegemony and unending war.

Now they seek a terrible, catastrophic war with Iran.

That is why extremist Jewish organizations worked to keep my message and ideas from the Czech people and the world.

I am doing tremendous numbers of interviews because of this false imprisonment, so we are reaching literally millions of people here in the Czech Rep. and around the world that I would not have reached otherwise.

I was lucky to have excellent legal representation, but although I am free we must be prepared for any legal challenge against my freedom and the right of Europeans to hear the legitimate ideas that I offer. I certainly am not guilty of any violation of Czech law either in its letter or spirit.

Listen up, Folks. Dr. David Duke has been arrested and detained by the Czech Republic police and is falsely accused of the crime of Holocaust denial. Jan Mikulovsky, spokesman for the police states this carries up to a three year sentence. He is falsely accused of promoting “movements seeking suppression of human rights”. David Duke does not suppress human rights, he fights for them. David Duke is a prisoner of conscience. This term, coined by Amnesty International, indicates someone who is “imprisoned because of their race, religion, color, language, sexual orientation, belief, or lifestyle so long as they have not used or advocated violence. David Duke is being held on account of his race, his support for his own race, and for the non-violent expression of his conscientiously-held beliefs. He has never advocated violence–you will not find any of the sort in his books, in any of his writings, on any of his internet radio shows. You will find no such advocating of violence anywhere by Dr. David Duke. If you have been following along for the past eight years of the existence of this website, you will have heard and read on a constant basis that Dr. Duke opposes the use of violence or force. Instead, he fully supports upholding the basic human right of free thought and free speech. Shared ideas move humanity forward; shared truths help keep us from falling backward; shared opinions is the spice promoting tolerance.

Dr. Duke promotes tolerance–towards people around the world who are White. Throughout the entirety of Western nations, White people have been intimidated into silence at our own expense; our tolerance towards others is demanded by them, but it is almost never returned in kind. Laws against free thought can, have, and do result in genocide. The least of our worries is legal involvement and imprisonment. One only has to recall the history of communist countries to see how over a hundred million citizens can be murdered by their own governments for what they believe. This is what David Duke stands against; this is what he has spent his life defending against. One of the most basic human rights is the right to what we do with our own minds and voices, and every law created against either poses an eventual threat to the lives of millions of people.

Of all people who should understand this, are those people David Duke has defended, the Slavic people, citizens of the Czech Republic. The loss of millions of Slavs by genocide has been forgotten, deliberately erased and dropped down the fiery memory hole, by an increasingly controlled Western society. Today, it’s David Duke. Tomorrow, it is all the rest of us.

Lincoln suspended habeas corpus during the War Between the States.

Roosevelt placed Japanese-Americans into concentration camps.

Johnson and Nixon used the military and FBI to spy on war protesters and labeled many “subversives”.

Today, like most of Europe, we stand facing another thoughtcrime law that will apprehend American citizens the same way David Duke was arrested today–even on false accusation, let alone an actual voiced opinion.

Such laws create criminals out of innocent people. Such laws even result in their deaths. Such laws eventually result in genocide. The curtailment of basic human rights is never justified.

The police in the Czech Republic are wrong about David Duke–he is a brave defender of human rights, never one to suppress it. We at www.DavidDuke.com implore the good sense of the government of the Czech Republic to free this man, a prisoner of conscience.

Free thought and the voicing of those thoughts is a basic human right that everyone in the world is born with. Laws against them are a design of mass intimidation that, in their worst forms, can kill.
